Ticket ≠ relationship
Eventbrite or the box office charged. The organizer has no thread for a time change, a door, or materials.
Events
Concerts, seminars, trade shows, and conferences already have ticketing. The pain starts after payment: a generic confirmation, room changes nobody announces, slow check-in, sponsors who cannot see leads, and a post-event that is a PDF of talks nobody opens.

Registration or ticket, communications by session, check-in, networking or trade-show leads, and a close that is not spam. The ticket engine keeps selling. MEXA operates the attendee, speaker, and sponsor journey — which are not the same.
Real friction
An event is a journey with an expiration date. Every gap shows up in no-show, lines, and sponsors who do not return.
Eventbrite or the box office charged. The organizer has no thread for a time change, a door, or materials.
Paid seminars or “free with registration” empty out. There is no reminder and no waitlist to refill.
The sponsor captures emails by hand. The next day they do not know who asked for a quote or which session they visited.
The same email to whoever went, whoever did not, and whoever was a speaker. The next edition is born weak.
What to orchestrate first
Concerts: access communications and changes. Seminars: reminder + materials + certificate. Trade shows: booth lead with context.
Confirmation, door, times, prohibited items, weather or opening changes. The attendee does not depend on an Instagram story.
Why it works. Cuts door chaos and complaints. It is the minimum viable journey when the product is the show.
Personal agenda, reminder 90 minutes before, room, materials, session survey, certificate.
Why it works. Seminar no-show eats the margin. The certificate and the materials justify the price and feed the next edition.
A QR at the booth opens an interest sheet. The sponsor or exhibitor receives a case, not a photo of a notebook. Follow-up the next day.
Why it works. That is what the sponsor pays for. If the lead is lost, there is no second trade show.
Attendee, speaker, and sponsor do not receive the same thing. Briefs, rooming, leads, and credentials are different cases.
Why it works. Treating a speaker like one more attendee is the fastest way they do not come back.
Success case (format)
Illustrative journey. Not a named customer. A MEXA case is published with a name when there is a full journey and evidence that can be told honestly.
An organizer stops using mass email as the only tool. Each attendee has an agenda; each booth, an interest case.
Problem
People signed up and did not go. Sponsors left with cards in a box. Post was a ZIP of PDFs.
Strategy
Three roles, milestones per session, booth capture, and a different close for whoever actually attended.
Experience
They know room, time, and materials. The exhibitor receives interests the same day, not a week later.
Implementation
The ticket stays where it is. MEXA orchestrates communications, check-in, and leads.
Result
You measure confirmation, check-in, and leads per booth. The next edition is sold with evidence, not with an aftermovie.
It can register and charge in some flows, but the typical case is orchestrating around the ticketing you already use.
No. The concert lives on access and changes. The seminar, on session, materials, and certificate. That is why the use cases are separate.
